Since it is summer I figured a cool dessert would be appropriate! I absolutely love cheesecake but it can be incredibly difficult to make in an oven but this recipe is a piece of cake! The hardest part was whipping the cream… (just make sure you have patience and a cold bowl!)
As the weather warms up, I have already started seeing restaurants post their summer menu items and, more often than not, at the top of the list is this noodle dish. Served chilled, kind of like a salad, this is a refreshing and easy to make summer dish!
The common themes with the recipes I found are it is served chilled, the toppings are in strips, the toppings are in a range of colors (red, green, yellow, etc). This is another recipe I grew up making, usually for family get togethers. However, I never realized that how they get their name: deviled means to make spicy, like by adding mustard or hot sauce. My family’s recipe was always on the sweeter side but just like with miso soup every family has their own style! This is a basic version of the recipe but when you give it a try, make it TO TASTE! This is a simple and easily customizable recipe so I hope you try it out!
